Let the Food Speak
By which we don’t mean hearing out a quietly-spoken cucumber at a public meeting. It’s more about sourcing fresh, seasonal, responsibly produced fare and bringing out its true character.

It’s become normal to expect all manner of fruit and veg at any time of the year, even if it’s been packed up half-ripe and flown in from the other side of the world. We think food tastes best when it’s in season.
Our chef teams select farm-fresh, seasonal ingredients not just for their taste but also for the way they look and smell before anyone has taken a bite. New-season asparagus, roasted spring lamb, summer raspberries, winter-warmer root vegetables – what could be more delicious?
Home is where the heart is. It’s also where all the best seasonal produce is grown. Some companies’ claims about always sourcing the best British fruit and veg, 365 days a year, have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Sometimes it’s just not possible to get hold of British produce all year round. At Angel Hill, we value honesty. We’ll always do our level best to get you the best, freshest produce from the best British producers. Occasionally, we may have to find the best possible alternative. But only after we’ve exhausted every avenue, road and country track.
It goes without saying that we want to know exactly what we’re putting into our food. Knowing how our ingredients are produced is just as important as knowing where they’re produced.
We like to know that it’s been sustainably grown and produced, and that our suppliers stick to higher welfare standards. All of our eggs are free-range and farm-fresh, our seafood is MSC approved (that’s the Marine Stewardship Council), our coffee bean suppliers are endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade, and we offer Red Tractor meat. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, click here to find out more.
The health and safety of our customers is our number one priority. So we make sure you have all the allergen and GDA information that you could possibly require. Simple.
A fairly simple concept, but not always one that’s followed through. We strive to make a difference every day, whether it’s by upping our recycling, reducing our wastage, charity fundraising or heightening environmental awareness. Angel by name, angels by nature.
It’s good to talk, but it’s even better to listen. We’re good listeners. By keeping quiet and letting you do the talking we can work out what you want, what you need, what will and won’t work for you. We can deal with the budgets and costings (boring but essential) then get on with the exciting bit, creating a catering solution designed for you, and you alone.
